I have not found them to be a problem in operating by hand. Have not shot all the various barrels in my one XIX receiver, though The ones I shot did work just dandy though.. GAB

The 10 inch barrel I got fit perfectly as well. My frame is the one that accepts the barrels that have all the slots on top. Any other type has to be fitted.

I used to own a Para. The P1640 which I had customised into a race gun at great expense. I really enjoyed it once I had the extractor tuned. Before that it was stove pipe hell.....lol

haha....the good ol stove pipe!!! Yep been using that term for 25 years. FTF (fire)/FTF (Feed)/FTE (eject) /Stove pipe/Hang fire......also known as stop buying that cheap ammo.

It is a term well suited for the round stuck in between bolt and chamber sticking up and smoking. Did you read my PM to you about it? And used in slang GAB
